This trend did not emerge from a vacuum of confidence. It grew in the vacuum of true leadership. It is a cultural marker of deep spiritual impoverishment masquerading as self-actualization.
When the men who occupy positions of power abdicate their responsibility to embody higher principles, they create a void. Into that void rushes the desperate language of titles without substance, of authority without integrity, of crowns without Majesty. The proliferation of self-proclaimed Kings is evidence of a system in decay.
